Perko announced today that retiring sales representative, Wayne Mooers, will be replaced by the Merifield Company. "Wayne did a great job for us for over 33 years," said Fred Perkins, president of Perko. "He was one of the best technical reps in the business, and covered the important markets of California and Hawaii." Beginning August 1, Merifield will represent Perko in that territory.
Established in 1907, Perko manufactures superior marine lights, hardware and fuel system components. Merifield Company has an equally distinguished history and reputation. Founded in 1932 and headquartered on Camano Island, Washington, Merifield is one of the industry's first marine manufacturers' sales agents and once represented Perko in the Northwest.
"We're excited to have Merifield back on our team," said Perko aftermarket sales manager Jack Barnes. "They know our products, our people and our customers. We're a great match."
