Watertight Deck Connector Kit Replacement Instructions

The 1189DP099A Connector Kit Replacement package contains two connector versions. Choose the connector for your application.

Option 1

**Discontinued old style press-fit female connection**

If you have this version, the replacement connector will not mate with the old installed connector.

Push out the old connector. Push in the female side of the new connector that has been specifically machined to remove the threads. Be sure it is fully seated into the metal flange.

If you have this version and must replace the female connector in the metal flange:

Unscrew the old connector. Put a small amount of caulking or adhesive on the threads of the new connector and screw it into the flange. Align the wire terminals to the flange as shown in Diagram 2B before the adhesive sets. The metal flange is threaded at the very end of the body to mate with the connector.
