Works well, no problems. Recommended.

I'm glad I found this lock. The fuel fill was the only thing on my boat I hadn't been able to secure with at least some type of lock, and it was bothering me quite a bit. I kept reading stories online about anglers parking their rigs at a hotel, then getting to the lake the next morning and finding all their gas had been siphoned out during the night. With a 36 gallon fuel tank and premium fuel, that would be a loss of over $135 plus at least an hour of fishing time.

It doesn't really look like it would work, but it does. It jams itself into the fuel fill, giving it the ability to breathe while making it impossible to get a hose of any kind in there. It can't really be grabbed and pulled very well. As with most security measures, this one might be defeated eventually but it's probably not worth it for the thief. He'll likely just move on and find an easier target.

Works great!

I had some gas siphoned out of my boat recently so I decided this product would provide the cheapest protection. So far it has worked great and is very easy to install and remove when filling up. I also like that the key to the lock includes a gas cap remover which makes unscrewing the gas cap much easier. I definitely would buy this again.
